Hunter Design School is excited to be a registered training organisation specialising in cutting edge and contemporary design education.
Our environment, both local and global, is filled with designed objects and spaces. Environments where time has been taken to choose the right colour, objects and space, to create perfect functionality. Design affects everyone, from our houses, cars, clothes, and magazines. The designers function is to bring together the balance of the combined elements of design with the social, cultural, ethical, and environmental contexts of the individual, community, and design itself.
To study design, involves reinventing and re-imagining the boundaries of society by bringing new designs and implementing them into our world. As well as this, design also calls for assuming innovative approaches and challenging conventional use of materials, systems, processes, and technologies. However, more importantly, is gaining the knowledge to do this – to be independent and imaginative as well as have the practical knowledge to implement designs and ideas.
